- Course Title: 'Diploma in International Travel Industry Studies'
- Course Overview: Want to work in travel, but don't know how to get started? By taking this course, you'll be getting a great introduction and ability to be a travel counselor in this exiting, fast-moving business or be an Independent Travel Agent yourself.
This course will give you an excellent overview and in depth knowledge in specific areas of the travel and tourism industry - including the terminology, how specific areas of the travel and tourism industry - including the terminology, how the business works and giving you an idea of what travel clients are looking for. It is indeed a great way to get the skills and confidence you need, either to get a job in the industry or for enhancing your qualifications further.
- Course Objective: This course is aimed at creating quality human resources for the Travel Trade across the globe at a beginner level or as a 'Travel Counselor'. It will equally benefit experienced travel personnel who are currently working in the travel & tourism industry or those entrepreneurs who would like to b an Independent Travel Agent or freelance as well as Corporate Travel Coordinators. The course is designed in such a way that it will benefit people who aspire to become a Flight Attendant or customer care staff with an airline.

Diploma in International Travel Studies will be awarded to students who have scored an aggregate of 160/200 (100 marks for the assessment and 100 for the final examination). Absentees (in genuine cases) and those who could not secure the required minimum will be given one more opportunity to sit for the exam by prior appointment.
- Placement Guidance: Will be provided. The innovative syllabus, course material, instructions and on the job training etc are all expected to generate considerable interest among prospective employers.
- Pre-requisites: Graduates preferred.
